Maritime Corridor has been allocated an indicative total of £25.7m. This consists of £16.13m from the Liverpool City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement I (CRSTS I) and £9.57m in Levelling Up Fund (LUF). Phase 1 is funded by LUF, Phase 2 is funded by CRSTS I and Phase 3 is yet to be allocated funding.
This funding is conditional on all the funds being expended by March 2027. Approval is sought to ensure that sufficient time is allowed for delivery of the scheme within the funding window.
