Logo recommended sizing
The logo size should be relative to the size of the background, be it a business card, a brochure, a poster or a large display.
The logo should never be smaller than 32mm wide on any document, as the text becomes too small to read.
The examples below are for smaller sizes, for advice on larger displays. please contact the Communications Team.

Exclusion zone
Wherever the logo is used, there should be an ‘exclusion zone’ around all sides, where no other object can be placed. This space should be a minimum of the height / width of the box containing the Molyneaux cross as
shown below.

Logo do’s and don’ts
The logo should be used in its entirety and be kept in the correct proportions and approved colours. However there is one exception which is the use of the ‘thumbnail’ version.
The logo can be displayed in black and white if it is placed on a black and white document. This can save on printing costs, particularly if you are producing a large mailout. For advice, please contact the Communications Team.
The logo can also be white out of a solid colour and in an approved colour, if authorised by the Communications Team.
The Sefton Council logo cannot be reproduced by any third parties for promotional purposes, without the consent of the Communications Team.
