In the first instance you should contact your organisation's designated safeguarding lead.
Submit a Prevent referral form:
Download and complete the National Prevent referral form
This is the official government form for professionals to submit a Prevent referral if you are concerned about a person being susceptible to radicalisation.
Email the completed form to the Merseyside Police Prevent team via prevent@merseyside.police.uk
What happens next?
Prevent Police will carry out checks and may contact the referrer for further information.

Prevent Training for professionals
Sefton Council are using the Home Office Prevent training package to deliver face to face training to Council staff and staff and volunteers from any organisation working within Sefton.
The package consists of a main Prevent training module and separate modules on different extremist ideologies.
Sessions are currently held at the Council’s Learning and Development Centre in Ainsdale, but we are also looking at other venues as well.
