Achievements
Over the past year the partnership has made great strides in working together to understand local need in relation to drugs across the priorities, ambitions and outcomes in the strategy.
Some of our achievements have included:
Lower My Drinking Campaign
Dedicated funding to promote the Lower My Drinking campaign which has been commissioned by the Champs Public Health Collaborative to help people across Cheshire and Merseyside to better manage their drinking.
Nitrous Oxide
Collaboration with local partners to respond to concerns regarding the use of nitrous oxide amongst young people. Posters have been designed and displayed around key hotspots in Sefton to highlight harm reduction messages and signpost to drug and alcohol services.
Stakeholder engagement
Sefton's Combating Drugs Partnership invited members to a dedicated session to explore findings from commissioned research, offering valuable insights and experiences of residents who use drugs and alcohol. As a partnership we worked together to understand local need in relation to drugs across the priorities, ambitions and outcomes in the strategy. Some of our immediate local priorities include addressing unmet need and forward planning for the future.
