Sefton will commence a new Local Plan that will replace the current Local Plan (April 2017) later this year. It is anticipated that it will cover the period 2029-2044. The current timetable for the new Local Plan is set out in the Council’s Local Development Scheme. This will be updated once the government publishes new plan-making regulations, expected this Spring.
