Social Value activities
In January 2025, Balfour Beatty’s, a contactor used by Sefton to build new highway infrastructure have undertaken social value activities across the three Major Highway Schemes (Maritime Corridor, Southport Eastern Access and Les Transformations de Southport). These are volunteering time, donations and hosting engaging careers events where students had the opportunity to learn about potential career pathways. Additionally, the month marked the successful commencement of two work placements, providing invaluable hands-on experience to participants. More Social Value information is available on the Balfour Beatty & Sefton Social Value January 2025 Newsletter.
