Safer Sleep Week
07 March 2025 Safer Sleep Weekmin read
This week is Safer Sleep Week, the Lullaby Trust’s national awareness campaign for families with young children, which raises awareness of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) and provides advice to reduce the risk of it occurring.
Throughout the week the Lullaby Trust will focus on:
- Exploring baby sleep patterns - How long can babies sleep for their age?
You can download their baby sleep patterns poster here.
- Busting baby sleep myths - Are any myths backed by evidence and what about products that promise to help your baby sleep for longer?
Download their Safer sleep for babies easy read card
Find out more about products that promise to help your baby sleep - Supporting you through your own lack of sleep.
They can provide help with sleep deprivation, and make it easier for you to follow safer sleep with your baby, even when exhausted.
Or follow the Lullaby Trust during Safer Sleep week on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn or TikTok.
Local support for families with young babies on safer sleep is available through Sefton’s Health Visting Service.
