Hot on the heels of the highly popular recent digital and social media masterclasses, local businesses are being invited to take advantage more free InvestSefton events in June.

Enhance your guests' experience

Hospitality expert, Andrew Kemsley, will lead free, two-hour sessions on Monday 8th and Tuesday 9th June focusing on helping businesses enhance their guest experience and capitalise on increased visitor numbers.

Both sessions are at Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa. The event on Monday 8th June will be from 6pm to 8pm and the Tuesday 9th June event will be from 10am to 12 noon. There will be ½-hour opportunity for networking before each workshop.

These are the latest InvestSefton workshops designed to help local businesses make the most of Southport’s packed 2026 cultural programme.

More than 300 local businesses have attended these InvestSefton-organised events to find out how they can strengthen their marketing, their customers’ experience and their digital presence.

Sefton Economic Forum

At the end of June, InvestSefton will be holding its Economic Forum, which will feature presentations from a range of speakers including the Bank of England’s Ken and award-winning writer Frank Cottrell-Boyce.

Taking place at Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa, on Wednesday 24th June, the Sefton Economic Forum is a flagship event in the local business calendar. It includes a breakfast networking from 8.15am before the main, two-hour session from 9am. There is also a business Support Marketplace from 11am.

To book a free place at any of these events, or to find out more, local business should email investsefton@sefton.gov.uk or phone 0151 934 3452.
