The Met Office has issued a Yellow Warning for heavy rain and thunderstorms that may lead to disruption in places tonight and through much of Saturday.

This could mean:

• Spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures.
  
  
• Delays and some cancellations to train and bus services
  
  
• Power cuts and the  loss of other services to some homes and businesses.
  
  
• Flooding of homes and businesses could happen quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater.
