With major private and public investment set to transform Bootle and Southport, over the coming years Sefton businesses are being invited to a free event to find out more about the exciting projects taking shape.

Hundreds of millions

Taking place between 8am and 11am on Thursday, 20th February 2025, at The Lake House in Waterloo, will be a chance to hear more about schemes that will hundreds of millions of pounds invested in the Borough.

These include the regeneration of Bootle with The Strand and Salt and Tar and the development of the new Marine Lake Events Centre in Southport. Other schemes the event will cover include Southport’s Enterprise Arcade, Market Quarter and Eastern Access, and the town’s Cove Resort.

Speakers

Speakers at the event will include Sefton Council Leader Cllr Marion Atkinson and Tony Howard from GSL, the developer of The Cove Resort.

Businesses attending the event will be able to hear about the economic, social and environmental benefits of these public and private sector scheme.
