Following the success of the Be Inspired event in March, Sefton@Work is hosting another jam-packed event for anyone wanting to explore fresh career opportunities and develop new skills.

Free expert advice

Free advice for jobseekers and employers, will be available to those who attend the event at Firwood Bootle Cricket Club, from 10am to 3pm on Wednesday 21st May.

A range of local employers and training providers will be there to discuss opportunities across the Borough.

The event is free, however people are asked to register at https://BeInspiredSefton.eventbrite.co.uk if they are planning on attending.

How the team can help

Sefton@Work offers free, confidential, impartial advice and guidance to Sefton residents over 16 years of age on all aspects of jobs, education, training, including self-employment.

The team provide a range of client centred support to meet each individual’s needs. This can include help back into work, finding their first job or help with a change of career.

Councillor Paulette Lappin, Sefton Council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Economy and Skills, said: “We had over 230 people attend the Be Inspired event in March, it’s fantastic to see more of these community events. It is a brilliant opportunity if you’re looking to switch careers, want to upskill, or are simply seeking inspiration.

“There will be advice from many incredible local partners, and fantastic networking opportunities with local businesses.

“And of course, the friendly Sefton@Work team will also be on hand for people to learn more about how they can support you, whether that’s with job searching, training, education, recruitment, or self-employment.
