King’s Gardens is an historic and beautiful park located on Southport’s stunning Promenade. Recently, it has been restored to its former glory through a £5million restoration project.
The park improvements included historic features and buildings being restored, extensive landscaping work to open up views, improved accessibility in and around the gardens and a new play area. King’s Gardens is on the register of Parks and Gardens (Grade II) in recognition of its special historic interest.

Gardening Sessions
Monday and Wednesday 1.30-3.00, meet at the Arts and Crafts Shelter (opposite the play area) if you are interested you can turn up on the day and the volunteers will make you very welcome.
